"Super Thursday" — featuring a UK election an ECB meeting and
testimony by the former FBI chief — has kicked off with oil prices steadying
after a steep drop on Wednesday but a higher overnight close for Wall Street
following a sneak peak at former FBI director Comey's remarks to Congress which
produced no new bombshells. Asian shares were mixed on Thursday buoyed by the
US gains but hit by oil's slide.

ECB president Draghi faces a tall task today in keeping a lid on the euro
as the market guns for a downshift in the bank's dovish stance. Tonight we face
a long slog through the UK election results if the initial exit poll and early
districts don't paint a clear picture.
