Apple's third-quarter earnings exceeded analyst expectations on multiple
fronts leading to a tech-sector surge in Asia and boosting shares of supplier
AAC Technologies by as much as 8.7% in Hong Kong.
Tension is building in the financial markets over chances that the Bank
