Asian stocks fell on Wednesday on
cue from Wall Street weakness overnight after Fed policymakers rekindled
chances of a June US rate hike. Japanese shares rebounded on a surprisingly
strong preliminary first-quarter GDP growth estimate in the world's
third-largest economy but drifted back in late afternoon trade.

EURUSD pushed below
1.1300 again overnight while USDCHF rose to two-month highs and tested its
200-day moving average. USDJPY remains the last holdout for confirming a
full-scale strong USD regime ahead of the FOMC minutes tonight.
The Fed has once again
reignited talk of a June rate hike but it looks like a red herring. September
is the earliest likely date and December still holds sway on the floor.
