Oil prices rose on Wednesday in a
nervous market ahead of a landmark Opec meeting in Vienna where the members are
expected to try to forge a production cut to boost prices. Asian bourses were
mixed with Chinese shares falling Japanese stocks flat and Korean and Hong Kong
shares ending firmer.
