S&P 500 Earnings Week Ahead – Reuters
Wall Street Week Ahead – Reuters
The rally that has
taken the S&P 500 index nearly 30 percent higher for the year shows no sign
of losing steam as Americans prepare to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday. Supporting
this scenario, December is historically the strongest time for stocks.
Weekly Focus: Euro deflation scare set to
continue – Danske
Bank
The US holiday
shopping season kicks off next week with Thanksgiving. It is hoped it will
confirm the upbeat message from the October retail sales report. We expect Euro
area flash inflation for November to increase a notch but remain at a level
uncomfortably low for the ECB. October industrial production growth in Japan
should be solid but we expect a small decline in the Markit PMI for November.
Inflation is likely to continue higher, although at a slowing pace.
Week Ahead – Nordea
Euro zone flash
inflation print will be in focus next week and we believe that the consensus
may be on the low side.

FX Outlook – Marc to Market
The market seemed to get confused last week between the noise and the signal and this confusion gave the dollar a bit of a reprieve. However, by the end of the week, the market seemed to be back on message.
