This will be one of
the most-watched US employment reports ever as the Federal Reserve’s meeting will be held
on September 17 and 18, when it is expected to announce a schedule for tapering
the central bank’s asset purchase programme.
European markets are
expected to open mostly lower today, with traders keenly awaiting US non-farm
payrolls data to gauge the probable timing of QE3 tapering. Meanwhile, German
industrial production data will also be eyed for further direction.
